Pastor

Dae-il Park

Pastor Daeil Park was born in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Because of his father’s ministry as a Presbyterian pastor, he grew up in various church settings in different regions during his childhood. He came to faith in Christ as his Savior during his middle school years, and in his early twenties, while attending a Calvinistic Baptist church, he began reading and embracing the theology and practice of the seventeenth-century Particular Baptists. He completed his undergraduate studies, seminary training, and a master’s degree at Korea Baptist Theological University and Seminary in Daejeon.


He married his wife, Yunok Lee, in 2008, and they have five daughters: Yerin, Yebin, Yeseo, Yeju, and Yujin. In 2014, he planted Noeun Sola Reformed Baptist Church and has since devoted himself to the growth and advancement of Reformed Baptist churches in Korea.

Missionary Samuel R. Gunnip

Samuel R. Gunnip

Pastor Samuel Gunnip was born and raised in a small town in northeastern Vermont, USA. While living in Cheyenne, Wyoming, he came to faith in Christ through a friend named Frank, who taught him about human sinfulness and the righteousness of Christ. He graduated from Westminster Seminary California in 2018. During his time there, he developed a desire to plant and serve Reformed Baptist churches in Korea, and by God’s providence, he is now engaged in that very work.
 

Pastor Gunnip and his wife, Sanghee Kim, were married in 2007 and have two sons, Junho and Suha. They have been living in Korea since February 2020.
